Hannington Parish Council is a statutory consultee on all planning applications. If timings permit, applications are discussed at meetings. If it is not possible to discuss an application at a meeting prior to the end of the consultation date, delegated powers are in place to allow the clerk to consider applications and send comments to Swindon Borough Council (following consultation with all councillors). All decisions made between meetings are reported at the next available meeting.
