Thames Water has stopped all further work to replace the mains water pipe through the village due to a lack of resources. Their contractor will fill the holes and lay new tarmac in Skinner’s Close by the end of the week and will remove all their equipment and signs from the village.
It is very unlikely that the works will recommence anytime soon, but Thames Water will notify residents by letter if/when they do.
